Put the House Numbers in Sequential Order
Today’s posting is an idea that I used in helping children remember their street address. I found some knew their phone numbers (another future blog post!) but many did not know their street number.
We had to talk about apartments and houses having special numbers and why they did so. To coordinate this ‘All About Me’ information, I used these 2 digit house number cards in math to help with the idea of ordering the numbers. As the year went on, I did the same idea but with 3 and 4 digit house cards.
